youssef the shoe maker
youssef is a true leather genius. he knows exactly what kind of leather is perfect for every product – and more importantly where to find it or to produce it. he trades high quality residual leather which he personally collects all over morocco.
he always has a smile on his face when we stop by his tiny leather workshop in the heart of the medina. we learn something new about leather from him every time we visit.
just like us he believes in “better together”. together with the other youssef he has a little store in the medina where they sell their bags and shoes – with leather from youssef, made by youssef. for yoomee he finds the perfect leather for all our leather products and makes our zwina shoes with love.
